As Sexual Health Manager, you will manage a sexual health service, and a team of 5 to deliver sexual health education and prevention services. You will work closely with the NHS, pharmacies and the community, ensuring better sexual health outcomes. The services you will oversee, will be the condom distribution scheme, the National Chlamydia Screening programme and training and education to support local schools and colleges. As Sexual Health Manager you will Provide leadership and management of the education and prevention in sexual health. Lead, motivate and support the team to develop their knowledge and skills, as well as supporting and directing the team. Employ good project management skills, ensuring that all contracted services remain on track. Lead on the delivery of outreach in the area, to include the most vulnerable or at risk, targeting LGBTQ people, speakers of other languages, young people and those living in economically deprived areas. To be successful in the role you will Have at least 3 years managing, leading and motivating a diverse team. Have experience, or degree in healthcare, heath education or youth work. Have experience of working within sexual health or young people's services. Have a thorough understanding of issues facing diverse groups of people, particularly speakers of other languages, LGBTQ people, woman and young people.
