The Company
A large media corporation with a number of leading brands across multiple sectors seeks an Account Director to sell marketing solutions across their financial portfolio. Our client provides news, analysis and insight to inspire and enable fund managers, product providers and financial intermediaries to maximize their commercial performance through print, desktop and mobile products and through a range of events.
The Role of Account Director
As Account Director you will be responsible for selling creative and display advertising campaigns to direct clients, west end agencies and independent agencies. You will manage key accounts as well as actively source new business for the portfolio. You will engage with major banks and law firms, selling in face-to-face meetings as well as over the phone. Although you will not be managing, you will be a senior member of the team and mentor 8 team members.
As Account Director, you will benefit from a consultative, dynamic and friendly sales environment with a great team spirit and energy.
Requirements for the role of Account Director
1. 4+ years experience in marketing solutions
2. Experience in selling into the finance sector (desirable)
3. Consultative approach to selling
4. Driven, hungry and outgoing
5. Proven track record of meeting sales targets
