Job Description
If you've got experience of running PCR2015 compliant tender processes and fancy joining a successful, growing consultancy business that offers personal & career growth opportunities through recognised professional qualifications and mentoring then this could be just the role for you!
What's on offer?
* Base salary of £30,000 to £35,000
* Private medical cover
* 5% matched pension contributions
* 25 days holiday
* Hybrid working (1-2 days a week on site)
* CIPS qualification funding/support
What will you be doing?
You'll be supporting the Head of Procurement in the delivery of a brand new procurement function for one of this consultancy's Norfolk based clients. This is predominantly an operational role, where you'll be running PCR2015 compliant tender processes, reviewing existing contract compliance and working closely with various stakeholders to help deliver their procurement requirements. You'll also get the opportunity to work with the Head of Procurement on some strategic initiatives as this business is going through a complete overhaul of the way goods and services are procured, so there will be plenty to get stuck into.
Who will you be doing it for?
You'll be joining a successful private sector consultancy business and will immediately be deployed into one of their public sector clients based in the Long Stratton area. This is a client that is essentially starting again as far as procurement is concerned, with all new policies and processes being developed and implemented, so it's a time of big change and big opportunities to make a significant impact. The consultancy has seen continued growth over recent years and is expecting this to continue into 2025 and beyond, so there will be ample opportunity to grow and develop your career, including through funded professional qualifications such as CIPS.
What do you need to bring to the party?
To be successful in this role it's expected that you'll be able to demonstrate the majority of the following skills/experience:
* Previous experience in a procurement role, ideally in an organisation that uses PCR2015 procurement regulations (PCR2015 is highly preferred but candidates without this will be considered if they can demonstrate previous procurement experience and the rest of the required skills/experience)
* Great communication skills - you'll be expected to build relationships at all levels of the business, from Directors to support staff
* A practical, pragmatic approach to problem solving and general management of a day to day work load
* Willing and able to commute to the client's office in Long Stratton, Norfolk 1-2 days a week
If the above sounds like the next step in your already successful career, and you’d like to learn more, apply today with a copy of your CV, LinkedIn profile or whatever you have for immediate consideration.
