We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home CarecAssistant to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires effective communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.
- Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safe transport.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate any changes in condition to relevant parties.
- Utilise IT skills to manage schedules and document care activities efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is not essential.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and families.
- Own transport is ESSENTIAL as staff travel house to house
- A caring attitude with the ability to empathise with clients' needs and concerns.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and scheduling purposes are beneficial.

Purely Care are seeking reliable and friendly care workers to work evening shifts between the hours of 4pm-10:30pm or 6pm-10:30pm around 3 to 4 evenings a week.
Purely Care provide care in the community to clients in the Hellesdon, Catton, Thorpe and Sprowston areas of Norwich.
We do care in the community, so staff do a short call in one house and then travel to the next house. Your own transport is essential.
