About The Role
We’re seeking an Employability Coordinator, who is passionate about supporting students’ career development, and excited to join a team that works across a varied and integral part of the University. Based in the Employability team, this role will provide administrative support and the delivery of projects and coordination across the department.
The post holder will liaise and coordinate team finance, governance and communication activities, ensuring processes and systems are of a high quality and followed effectively. You will support with specific employability tasks, for example, job and event approvals and student right-to-work checks to support our successful Micro-internship scheme.

The successful candidate for this role will need to be a pro-active "team player" who is conscientious and hard-working who actively plays their part in continuing to make Falmouth University a great place to work. It's a fast-paced environment, we are looking for people who have the energy and agility needed to ensure we traverse an ever-changing HE landscape, as we execute our ambitious plans. Alongside these core qualities, the candidate will have a high attention to detail, project delivery experience, work with autonomy, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience: •Demonstrable recent and relevant experience of supporting successful projects.•Experience of financial processes: raising orders.•Experience of working on collaborative projects with multiple stakeholders.•Good planning and organising skills.•Knowledge and experience of using MS office applications and web-content management. This is a part time, 17.5 hours a week position working 7 hours per day on Monday and Wednesday and 3.5 hours on a Friday.
