Unqualified Teacher
Teaching personnel are working alongside a number of schools within the West Swansea area, who require Unqualified Teachers to join the school to cover planned and unplanned absences.
This role involves delivering pre-set lesson plans and supervising students within the classroom, ensuring all safeguarding and behavioural policies are followed.
* Full and part-time hours available, as you will work on a flexible basis on days you are available and when the schools need additional support in the form of a Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher.

* Previous experience either working as a Cover Supervisor or delivering lessons in secondary schools as an Unqualified Teacher is preferred, however, we would welcome applicants from anybody with transferrable experience or skills, or those who have supported young people in a similar capacity.
Due to the nature of the role, we require you to be educated to degree level, however, no specific teaching qualifications are required. Work will be set, and you will be required to deliver the work whilst you supervise the classroom. This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone who is considering a future career in teaching or for graduates who are looking to gain further experience within the secondary school setting before embarking on their PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programmes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
