Nursery Room Leader - Royston (SG8) - 40 hours per week - £12.25 per hour
We are curerntly looking for qualified Room Leader for a fantastic nursery based in Royston (SG8). We are open full-time from 7:30am - 6pm, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years. This nursery is situated in the heart of the historic market town of Royston in Hertfordshire, with excellent links to the A10, a few minutes away from the town centre.
The successful candidate will have a keen and positive attitude along with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, encouraging relationships with children, parents and colleagues and have excellent interpersonal skills and with proven supervisory and coaching experience.

What we need from you:
•Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher
•Experience in a nursery setting 1 year +
•Commitment
•Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
•Ability to work within a team
•Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
Your duties will include:
•Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
•Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
•Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
•Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
•Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
•Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
