JOB TITLE: Customer Service Host
LOCATION: Aberdeen Airport
SHIFT PATTERN: 3 in 7, 20 hours per week
CONTRACT: 6 month Fixed Term
PAY RATE: £ per hour
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Check-in passenger queue management and flow control including management of queuing systems.
2. Assist with management of passenger flow within the departure lounge, International Walkway, Arrivals and gate areas as directed.
3. Security: General preparation of passengers prior to entering the Security Area.
4. Security: If required assist in Central Search at peak times and undertake access control.
5. Handle varied passenger queries and assist with general way finding.
6. Assist the Passenger With Reduced Mobility service as required.
7. Communicate and report to the Terminal team any operational issues or events, failed service levels, asset or facility issues and inadequate provision of flight information.
8. Assist, as directed by the Airport Duty Manager, during any periods of irregularity.
9. Exercise general vigilance around the Terminal building.
10. Promote use of self-service check-in kiosks.
11. Ensure all kiosk and common use check-in equipment is serviceable and where required engage with support contractor.
12. First Aid (Training will be provided).
13. Ensure all paperwork is managed and processed in line with GDPR (general data protection regulation).
