As a Financials AMS Consultant (Senior Associate/Associate),you’llbe responsible for ensuring the successful post deployment service delivery of Workday solutions for clients. This will cover all configuration and functional changes required in a post productionenvironment, and responding to customer cases on a prioritized basis. You will work with customer finance leads to enhance, fix, and extend their existing Workday finance implementation.
Your primary activities will be to understand and translate customer requirements, define service scope, and shape, configure and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable for our customers’ Workday and Smart projects. Hands-on product configuration may be required for this role.
You will work in a team or independently helping our clients transform their business needs (Revenue, Spend, project, reporting etc .. ) with the Workday platform. You will work as part of a delivery team supporting AMS customers of all size, across multiple industries. You will be a specialist contributor within you team, providing mentorship where required to colleagues within your team
As a part of the Financials specialty, you'll work alongside our clients Finance team to help assess their current processes such as their end-to-end contracts process and then design and build an appropriate solution to support their team and that process within Workday.
Within Workday at Kainos, the expectation is for our staff to be adaptable and be able to rotate within various Workday teams depending on business needs.
M INIMUM ( ESSENTIAL ) REQUIREMENTS :
1. Financial and/or management accounting experience
2. Exposure to designing and building complex financial planning models, with advanced Excel skills
3. Experience implementing / Using finance system
4. Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences
5. We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability of working effectively within teams and alongside customers whilst helping to foster an inclusive culture
6. Ability to execute your individual tasks with limited supervision and manage your time effectively and record it accurately
7. Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Customer demands and project commercials
8. Evident consulting skills e.g. presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating, and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customers
9. Follow ticket management guidance for your own queue for customer updates, clarity on work completed, B&R notes, accuracy and approved time management
10. Queue management experience in triage, monitoring queue performance, flagging issues and escalating issues
11. Able to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required)
D ESIRABLE :
• Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll Certification
• Professional qualifications in your area of expertise
• Previous consulting experience
