Our client is a housing association based in the east end of Glasgow. They are looking to add an experienced Senior Housing Officer/Housing Manager to their team on a 3-month contract due to a period of sick leave. The role is based on-site alongside 22 employees consisting of a Director, Housing Manager, Senior Housing Officers and Housing Officers.
Your new role
-Supervision and management of the housing team and ensuring objectives are met
-Responsible for day-to-day management of the team
-Supporting and monitoring housing officers
-Overseeing the development and implementation of local action plans for defined neighbourhoods to identify and address local concerns and to enable a consistent approach to tackling estate and tenancy issues
-Handling agreements, rent collection and arrears management
-Ensuring housing regulations and policies are monitored and adhered to
What you'll need to succeed
-Ideally, you will have experience in a Senior Housing Officer or Housing Manager role
-Relevant qualifications/certification
-Housing management experience is preferred.
-Familiarity with housing regulations and legislation
- Ability to handle challenging situations
