Job Description:
We seek a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Rotherham. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge to enhance student growth, creating engaging lesson plans, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include delivering curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in accordance with the correct curriculum.
2. Prepare students for national assessments and examinations, providing targeted support and guidance as needed.
3. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents to support their learning journey.
4. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students and promote a positive school culture.
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. The ability to effectively teach a range of subjects.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
4. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
5. Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.
