Job Description
We are looking to recruit a legal secretary to provide assistance within the private client department of a Law firm, based in central Winchester. The role will be full time working from 09.00 – 5.30 with an hour lunch break.
Candidates must have:
1. Recent experience as a Secretary, not necessarily within a firm of solicitors.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
3. Strong IT skills
4. Good attention to detail with good keyboard and word processing skills
5. Good numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
6. Candidates must be positive, proactive, friendly, organised, be a good team player and able to work to deadlines and be a quicker learner
Responsibilities will include:
7. Prepare various legal documents, using digital dictation, as and when instructed
8. Liaising with clients, solicitors and other organisations
9. Attending to clients in person & when necessary in client meetings
10. Opening paper and electronic files, scanning and photocopying as and when required
In return the successful candidate will receive full training, and be provided with parking within a short walk of the offices
