7 month temporary contract covering maternity leave
£16.25 per hour
Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Project Officer on behalf of our prestigious client based in Manchester City Centre. If you are looking to work for an organisation where you can help make a real difference and where the work you do genuinely does matter, then this could for you!
This will be a 7 month temporary contract to cover a maternity leave. It is a hybrid role where you will be expected to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per month, although you will need to attend the office more while training. The pay rate will be £16.25 per hour and after 12 weeks you will be entitled to the weekly equivalent of 38 days holiday per annum.
Duties will include:
1. Support the delivery of specific projects and all associated project administration
2. Monitor and update project plans and documents
3. Identify and manage project risks and issues
4. Communicate project and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders
5. Coordinate meetings, take minutes, create action logs and follow ups
6. Advocate for continuous improvement within the department
We are looking for candidates with:
7. Previous project administration and coordination experience
8. The ability to work collaboratively with team members and all associated stakeholders
9. Excellent communication and customer service skills whether face to face, over the phone or in writing
10. The ability to communicate complex information in a range of formats
11. Great organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work on a range of tasks at any given time
12. Experience of using project software such as MSPO would be advantageous but not essential. However, strong general IT skills are essential as is the ability to learn new systems quickly
