ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Project Planner, you will be working across multiple projects for clients and contractors across the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. This role will be suitable for someone who has a strong utility and construction background. Your role will be to produce high quality programmes for both tenders and live projects, including pre-construction and construction phases. Monitor and control project effectiveness, key outputs trackers and advise of any deviation. Assist project teams in delivering projects on time and in the most efficient manner. Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members. Identify changes in work scope in the project plan and produce impacted programmes. Develop claims for Extension of Time and narratives to support programmes. Ensure to convey required project data and information to project teams. Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports / dashboards for management. Gather actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team. This role can be based out of either central London or Kent as they have offices in both areas.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree qualification in engineering/construction or equivalent. Operational experience (i.e. site engineer/agent) together with experience of planning as a Project Planner would be desirable. I am also looking for good stability on your CV with a minimum of 2 years at each company that you have worked for.
