A technical company in the automotive and body works industry are looking to take on an experienced operations manager within the manufacturing based in Fareham.
role and responsibilities of an operations manager
1. Doing build updates and changes to specs using the software "Advanced".
2. Complete new build production.
3. Maintain contact with dealer administrators to determine stock levels and deliveries of Chassis.
4. Liaise with the sales manager and the workshop supervisor to implement strategies and processes.
5. Booking in and out of new build production vehicles.
6. Raise job files.
7. Negotiation of prices with suppliers.
8. Creating production drawings.
9. Booking machinery/tools for repairs / servicing.
10. Health and safety processes.
The ideal operations manager will have the following:
11. Manufacturing experience ( ESSENTIAL )
12. Automotive experience ( desirable )
13. Technical environment experience.
14. Commercial vehicle experience ( desirable )
15. Working from and producing technical designs.
16. Health and safety at work.
17. IOSH ( desirable )
