Blue Water Recruitment are currently looking for a Logistics Manager to work on a large industrial construction project within the Cardiff area.
Our client is looking to add an experienced Logistics Manager to their team. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Implement and develop the new project logistics plan to include the delivery, waste, traffic and emergency management plan to suit the needs of the Project.
* Managing site deliveries, schedules and placement of materials on site
* Movement and transfer of site materials
* Managing a small team for the logistics package
* Ensuring full health and safety compliance at all times
* Reporting to the Project Manager
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years+ with Logistics Management experience.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
* Valid CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid
* Temporary Works Coordinator – Beneficial.
This role is due to start in the next few weeks, approx. 2 years work.
