Equans is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our team in Liverpool on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £41, - £43, per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package. There is also a flexible allowance available for short term changes in shift pattern as required at management request.
What will you deliver?
1. Complete all aspects of site mechanical maintenance and installation
2. All site mechanical technicians are required to service, maintain, fault find and repair mechanical equipment in the areas of EQUANSs operational responsibility
3. Develop suitable maintenance strategies to fall in line with site requirements
4. Maintain all plant & equipment as required at the Halewood Site in line with existing legislation, statutory requirements, current regulations, and best practice thereby fulfilling site health, safety, environmental, quality and customer service targets. This will include identifying areas for continual improvement
5. Ensure that all operational areas under his control are effectively managed to ensure that all third-party contractors who carry out work on the site do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company procedures and site-specific procedures where applicable
6. Follow the company procedures and standards as expressed in the Company Handbooks
7. Complete all administrative functions correctly and efficiently, either paper logbooks or by using appropriate IT software, e.g., Maintenance Management System
8. Become fully familiar with all Company and site procedures, which affect him/her and carry out all responsibilities detailed in the EMS
9. Represent the Company well to customers and external agencies, by reasonable dress and demeanour and ensure the site and all Company property are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
