A high growth, purpose driven FMCG are looking for a SNAM to lead their Tesco account, along with Ireland. The role: sales strategy, develop and execute joint business plans for your customer(s). Translate the brand strategy, category, financial, and retailer requirements into a JBP plan that delivers mutually profitable growth thus contributing to overall company target achievement Business Development – identify and drive business development opportunities within the customer(s) from all available data sources in conjunction with Category and Marketing colleagues to exceed performance ahead of plan short, medium, and long term. Maximise Spend Effectiveness Coordinate All Customer Requirements – interact and coordinate with other colleagues and departments (supply chain, finance, marketing, commercial) to meet customer requirements and deadlines. Build the customer relationship and resolve any conflicts that could impact the business plan Communicate effectively both internally and externally on all matters pertaining to the efficient day to day running of the customer’s business so that initiatives happen fast and first time. Lead The Instore Agenda Monitor Competitive Activity Administration & Forecast – Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary administration (both internal & external) and achieve key targets for forecast and invoice accuracy Wider Team Contribution – Play a full and active part in the wider sales team to aid the overall achievement of sales targets Drive Continuous Improvement – Act as a catalyst for change and a sales ‘leader’ who does not accept the status quo. About You: A great position for a self starter highly motivated by agreeing incremental plans and delivering growth. Experience ideally as a Senior National Account Manager, within grocery Commercially very astute, can build and interpret P&L models, understand the impacts on margin and know what levers to pull to deliver P&L improvements Ability to demonstrate and share sales leadership and best practice to the wider commercial team. Excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and able to build long-term customer partnerships Thinks outside of the box, asks a lot of questions and has a natural sense of curiosity to challenge the norm. Salary £70,000 to £75,000 base, plus £5,000 car allowance and 10% bonus.
