Operations Support Assistant

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
About the Role:
Multitask Personnel is proud to partner with a leading utilities provider specialising in the supply, installation and maintenance of gas, electric, and SMART meters for energy suppliers. As part of their ongoing expansion, we are seeking experienced Operations Support Assistants to join their dynamic team in Doncaster.
In this customer-focused role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring engineers meet their scheduled appointments. You’ll support engineering teams in fitting assets and maintaining smooth operational performance within a designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Team Leader and Field Operations to maintain operational efficiency and meet KPIs.
• Communicating effectively via phone and email with engineers, management, and suppliers.
• Answering queries for designated regional areas promptly.
• Submitting accurate and timely reports as required.
• Handling and resolving customer complaints while ensuring excellent service standards.
• Planning and coordinating installation schedules with engineers to optimise productivity.
• Monitoring live trackers to ensure engineers meet daily schedules.
• Managing job statuses through an online system and investigating aborted jobs for validity.
• Escalating unresolved issues to the Operations Manager to ensure job completion.
• Managing same-day emergency call-outs and priority work within SLA deadlines.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
• Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM systems.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in an engineer/logistics support role with good geographical knowledge.
• Outstanding customer service experience.
