Job Description
Your role as Transport Manager
8. Lead a Health and Safety and compliance, including behavioural culture and adherence to all legal obligations and company policies and procedures
9. Ensure KPI targets are exceeded and corrective action is taken in a timely manner where required to enable a performance culture and ensure this is embedded throughout the Transport Team
10. Lead the management of the Transport Team including performance reviews, management and HR processes
11. Continuously seek to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the Transport operation
12. Support the internal and external audit process for the site to remain compliant in relation to standards, environment and statutory obligations
What you’ll bring…
13. On the job experience in existing or comparable role
14. Experienced people manager including ER and performance process management
15. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels both internally and externally
16. Resilient under pressure able to meet deadlines whilst adapting quickly when confronted with unforeseen work demands
17. CPC holder with O Licence responsibility
