Partnership Tax Accountant London Competitive salary This client is global law firm with offices in key business centres across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The firm employs approximately 2000 lawyers. Their London office has a headcount of circa 800 and offices in the City A permanent position has opened up for a Partnership Tax Accountant to join their Accounts Department. Your main responsibilities will be to take on specific tasks related to the UK and global firm's tax and filing obligations. There will be involvement with offices outside of the UK/Europe. Responsibilities BEPS update and compliance including annual review of master file. Issuing inter-company invoices for re-charges and income recognition. US foreign tax credit reporting of Germany, UK, Belgium, Hong Kong and Mexico taxes for US partners. Maintenance of UK partners tax reserves for review by the Global Tax Manager. Developing global model(s) of partner income and distribution. Managing Tokyo accounting and tax reporting. Managing UK partners' US tax filings and assistance with German and French partners' US tax filings including ITIN renewal applications and related correspondence. Working with the firm's Financial Services (credit control) to provide withholding tax documentation which will include GDPR agreements in some cases. Belgium tax accounts (Local and US filing requirement). Other ad hoc duties related to taxation matters and partner remuneration such as but not limited to requests from HR and Management, assistance with secondments and Non-resident tax returns. Candidate Profile ACA or ACCA qualified accountant or qualified by equivalent experience.
