Located in Elgin, Scotland, we are seeking a skilled Distillery Operations Manager to lead our team of 24 and drive the smooth operation of all distillery processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for sustainability.
About the Role:
* Lead and manage a multi-functional team, fostering a collaborative environment where every team member feels valued and empowered.
* Ensure the efficient operation of production, maturation, maintenance, and capital projects, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* Manage key capital projects, working closely with teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and performance standards are met.
* Drive strategic focus, ensuring the distillery meets current and future business needs through sustainable practices and operational efficiency.
* Oversight of day-to-day operations, including management of maintenance and strategic growth initiatives.
Your Background:
* A proven people leader with a strong operational background, ideally within distilling or similar manufacturing, with experience leading multi-functional teams.
* Comfortable with a broad role, balancing responsibilities across operations, maintenance, and project delivery.
* A passion for continuous improvement and sustainability, with strong evidence of objectives delivered.

* Strong technical knowledge of distillation processes.

The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional benefits including a competitive pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
