At this 60-bed high care facility, including a dedicated memory support unit, you'll play a vital role in leading a junior team of RNs. The facility, built by the community, continues to serve the local aging population with pride and care. You'll work alongside an experienced clinical nurse and Facility Manager to ensure smooth operations, care planning, and audits. Your leadership will help create a nurturing environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, resident-focused care, ensuring the highest quality of life for all residents.
Support the clinical team with care planning, documentation, and audits.
Engage with the local residents and immerse yourself in the community inside and outside the facility.
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse capable of mentoring others while embracing the relaxed pace of life in regional NSW. You'll need at least 2 years' experience in aged care, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The Essentials:
Current AHPRA registration
Minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care
Proficiency in medication management, clinical documentation, and care plans
Full working rights in Australia
A car is recommended for commuting
