Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our long established client based in Dundee to recruit a Finance Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Company Accountant, the Finance Assistant will play a key role in assisting with daily financial requirements alongside supporting during the month and year end processes.
On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:
1. Purchase ledger processing.
2. Bank reconciliations.
3. Reconciling supplier statements and coding invoices as required.
4. Accounts receivable including issuing statements and resolving invoice queries.
5. Assist with monthly reporting and periodic requirements including VAT returns.
6. General accounts administration as required by the Company Accountant.
7. Daily use of Sage and Microsoft Excel.
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have previous experience working within a busy finance department where you have contributed to ensuring deadlines are met.
