As part of the Highways Training and Assurance Team, Telent requires an experienced and highly motivated Technical Trainer to identify, develop and deliver the training. The Technical Trainer is responsible for ensuring all products have training material produced in line with product specifications to support the business in achieving right first-time quality.
What you'll do as the Technical Trainer:
Delivery of HESA training in line with the Highways Training Plan
Reviewing training products to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications
Take responsibility for training engineers both in the classroom and in the field
Expedite trainees to full operative status
Assessment of training needs and objectives, and designing and developing training initiatives as required Who you are:
The successful Technical Trainer will have previous experience in delivering this type of training or have a level 3 in adult educational training to help Telent identify, develop and deliver the training. The role will work collaboratively with representatives from Operations, QEHS, Training and other departments (as required) to deliver a successful Training Academy.
Technical Trainer Key requirements:
Have experience of training delivery and a good understanding of the HERS process.
Creating, testing and documenting training material and updating existing training
Providing subject matter expertise and administration of the training system and its operation across all programmes in multiple media
To expedite new starters and maintain existing engineers to be deployed roadside under sector 8.
Hold Full UK Driving Licence. What we offer:
