Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucester
Shifts Pattern: Monday - Friday, 3 shift pattern (earlies, lates and nights)
Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience (£48,000 - £53,000 with additional overtime)

My client, an industry leading precision engineering manufacturing company, is searching for an experienced / fully qualified maintenance engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
They are developing innovative fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket parts to prioritize efficiency and quality. By creating products that optimize engine performance and minimize emissions, this company aims to reduce waste and promote sustainability. Their remanufacturing programs and design approach focus on recyclability, reducing the need for new resources and minimizing environmental impact.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive electrical and mechanical maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing plant.
2. Implementing a proactive maintenance strategy to stay ahead of potential issues.
3. Quickly resolve equipment failures to minimize production disruptions and ensure long-term machinery reliability.
4. Providing guidance and support to operators and craftsmen to perform first-line repairs and scheduled maintenance.
5. Ensure compliance with quality protocols and standards by proactively monitored
6. To identify and address the underlying causes of issues and 5S
7. Uphold all health and safety regulations, including Electricity at Work Regulations, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Safety at Work Regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards for electrical safety, hazardous material handling, and overall workplace safety.
Essential Requirements:
8. Experience working as an maintenance engineer on an automated manufacturing plant.
9. Proficient in interpreting pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
10. Time-served Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or recognised Level 3 qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (must be a NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC or ONC)
11. Proven ability to manage your own PPM schedule and oversee site breakdowns.
12. Previous experience with precision engineering or CNC equipment is highly desirable
13. Previous experience in programming and operating industrial automation systems, (including Siemens S7 / Fanuc / Allen Bradley PLC controls / CNC control systems)
