Role Overview:
We have multiple opportunities available for Teaching Assistants to support both 1-1 student needs and general classroom activities within Key Stage 1 (KS1). As a Teaching Assistant through Teaching Personnel, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young learners to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1-1 support to students with additional needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assist class teachers in preparing resources, setting up lessons, and organizing activities to enhance student engagement.
* Support small groups of students with differentiated tasks, helping them reach their learning objectives.
* Encourage positive behavior and supervise students during break times, lunchtimes, and non-classroom activities.
* Observe and track student progress, sharing insights and feedback with teaching staff and SEN teams as required.
* Promote an inclusive atmosphere, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting.
* A passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their educational journey.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certification) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
