As the Senior Commercial Strategy Manager you’ll be leading on the commercial & pricing strategy for all of our products and propositions and support the wider team in commercial negotiations with key partners.
Responsibilities will include defining the commercial strategies for new & existing propositions, identifying commercial opportunities, leading on contract negotiation and defining the pricing principles for GTM activity.
You’ll act as the primary interface across a wide range of stakeholders from Sales & Marketing to Finance, always ensuring that the commercial objectives are clearly identified, understood and delivered.
Accountabilities
1. Define total lifecycle commercial strategy for all products & propositions in portfolio.
2. Delivering quarterly pricing short & long term pricing strategy for all products and propositions.
3. Accountable for product level AMPU across new acquisition & in life.
4. Price point management & discount build process.
Responsibilities
5. Primary stakeholder within the GTM planning process, responsible for defining the pricing strategy for the period/quarter, working closely with trading and marketing to define promotional plans utilising your commercial and market expertise.
6. Works closely with Propositions & Partners managers to develop profitable products & propositions across new acquisition and in life. Responsible for defining the commercial strategy and objectives for all new propositions and associated KPIs for success.
7. Commercial lead in negotiations & appraisal for new & existing partners.
8. Responsible for monitoring pricing performance through trading and providing recommendations for repair / optimisation.
9. Primary interface between Sales & Marketing teams with Commercial & Finance teams, translating key business objectives into deliverable outcomes.
10. Quartely & annual reviews of pricing & commercial performance, identifying product / channel and external trends to inform future decision making.
11. Responsible for managing the price point and discount build process to ensure trading flexibility to meet business needs.
12. Subject matter expert in the competitive environment, price elasticity & product profitability.

14. Someone who has or is studying for a relevant commercial / finance qualification.
15. A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and evaluate from multiple perspectives.
16. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
17. You will be a great communicator and storyteller, with experience of building and delivering presentations to a range of audiences.
18. Able to simplify complexity for a wide range of stakeholders.
