Join the brilliant Procurement Team at easyJet, where you'll manage a significant portion of our £3 billion annual spend, initially focusing on the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) category. We are seeking a Procurement Manager with extensive E&M experience and a background in the aviation supply chain market. You should be familiar with aviation Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and have a deep understanding of maintenance, repair, and overhaul responsibilities for an airline. Ideal candidates will have a specialist engineering background and knowledge, having worked for suppliers or airlines.
In this role, you'll assist in delivering the Procurement Category Plan through market analysis, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end tender processes. You'll drive value and cost savings, ensuring robust contractual coverage and actively managing supplier relationships. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, influence procurement processes, and negotiate market-leading contract terms. You'll also draft contracts, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate sourcing documentation.
This role requires a proactive approach to promoting easyJet's mission, staying informed on industry developments, and contributing to strategic procurement initiatives. Be a part of a team that makes travel easy and affordable, supporting the Lead Procurement Manager and mentoring Procurement Executives.

What you need to do the role
We are seeking a highly skilled professional educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience, ideally holding a formal CIPS qualification. You will be a strong negotiator and influencer, capable of building robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders across various levels.
You will excel in understanding complex specifications and contract scopes, and have the ability to accurately analyse large amounts of detailed financial information.
A self-starter with determination and drive, you will demonstrate tenacity in delivering results and have the ability to influence and challenge senior management effectively.
Good business acumen and proficiency in the end-to-end sourcing process, including competitive tendering, are essential. Additionally, you will be an expert at influencing suppliers to improve their offers, even with minimal leverage.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
