The Opportunity
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all, or part of the business and client organizations. You will be identifying definition of requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, along with the quantification of potential business benefits.
You will be working closely with the Project and Product management teams to understand the key business drivers and to provide business analysis in support of the project and service design and delivery to aid the achievement of the business goals.
You will be responsible for the line management and training/mentoring for the Business Analysis functions. You will be leading by example, upholding the best of our values and setting aside time to support the team when needed.
The role will involve:
13. Mentoring junior team members
14. Providing internal training on analysis techniques
15. Eliciting programme and project requirements using interviews, document analysis and other techniques.
16. Representing requirements in writing and through other mediums, such as analysis models, prototypes, or scenarios.
17. Leading the documentation of requirements using a variety of graphical and textual techniques such as: Use cases, Scenarios, Diagrams, Users stories, Functional Requirements Specifications and Activity/Process Diagrams
18. Supporting the creation of non-functional requirements from customers and user requirements providing guidance based on Landmark Group service offerings.
About You
To be successful as the Senior Business Analyst, you will have extensive experience in leading by example and mentoring Junior Business Analysts. You will be confident in your ability to present and communicate to members of all technical ability.
You will also have/be:
19. Business Process Analysis skills training
20. Experience of documenting requirements in the form of users stories and other graphical and textural techniques
21. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
22. Experience on writing customer facing reports
23. Experience of creating process flows for the ‘As Is’ process
24. Degree calibre or relevant experience
25. Line management experience
