Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work with both hand tools and power tools effectively.
Duties
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
2. Install Solar PV and Battery Storage Systems (Electrical Only) - Training can be given.
3. Wiring of Heating Systems (Gas and Renewable) - Training can be given.
4. Ensure that all installations meet the required safety standards and regulations.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
6. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
8. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on the job site.
Experience
1. Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is essential.
2. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
4. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints effectively.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work are advantageous.
