Level 3 - Salary Range: Emmaus Grade 4 (SCP 5-6)
Term time only + 5 days – 13 hours per week plus additional hours
St Ambrose Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding and passionate Nursery Assistant to join and support our school.
We are seeking an innovative, experienced Nursery Assistant to work within our nursery setting and to have an impact on educational progress for pupils. The postholder will be required to make a substantial contribution to Individual Learning Plans, lead a 26-place nursery for 3 and 4 year olds, play a full and active part of our wider school, and endeavour to seek and carry out provision for the best opportunities for our learners. We require someone who is committed to managing behaviour effectively and making a positive difference. They will need to be confident in scaffolding a child’s learning and be prepared to encourage independence when and as appropriate as the child develops.
The school takes the safeguarding of pupils extremely seriously. Therefore, in accordance with Safer Recruitment guidelines, references will be taken up before interview and identity and qualification checks undertaken. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check will be required before starting employment.
