Maintenance Engineer, Blandford, up to £45,000pa
Purpose
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the maintenance of production machinery and general site infrastructure. You’ll oversee planned, preventative maintenance, reducing machinery downtime as well as reactive maintenance on any machinery breakdowns.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:
Implement a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for production machinery across the site.
Be available for reactive maintenance, reducing machinery down-time.
Working to improve plant efficiency and performance.
Providing technical engineering support to the manufacturing team.
Coordinating maintenance activities with colleagues and external contractors.
Manage departmental resources and costs.
Completion and communication of reporting and tracking documentation.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be able to demonstrate:
Experience undertaking maintenance activities on machinery, particularly heavy manufacturing equipment such as press-breaks, guillotines etc.
The ability to maintain accurate PPMs and service records.
Understanding of electrical and mechanical safety systems.
An understanding of health and safety documentation.
