The Role:
As a Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the media strategy and implementation for the business. You will be responsible for:
* Developing and executing media strategies that drive brand awareness and growth across various markets.
* Collaborating closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure effective media planning and buying.
* Steering both local and regional media initiatives, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.
* Managing relationships with media vendors and negotiating contracts to optimize ROI.
* Aligning global media strategies with local market needs, ensuring KPI benchmarks are met.
* Delivering impactful reporting to senior stakeholders, ensuring media spend effectiveness is maximised.
Key Responsibilities:
* Media Strategy & Planning: Localise global media strategies for the UK market, ensuring alignment with local market trends and business objectives.
* Media Buying & Vendor Management: Oversee negotiations with media agencies and vendors, optimising media spend through effective contract and bonus management.
* Digital Evolution: Lead the digital transformation of media plans, ensuring continued innovation in digital and programmatic media.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, brand, and media teams to deliver successful media campaigns.
* Reporting & Analytics: Provide in-depth reporting on media performance, ensuring strategic decisions are data-driven.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Experience: Currently working as a Media Manager in an FMCG company with prior experience in an agency setting.
* Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a deep understanding of both digital and traditional media.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to analyse media performance data and drive strategies that deliver a strong return on investment.
* Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams or projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Adaptability: Experience in fast-paced environments, with the ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities.
