Do you have experience supporting students who have been excluded from mainstream education or are at risk of exclusion?This school is looking to add a Behaviour Mentor to the team to deliver a tailored support plan to a student who has struggled to engage with education. As a Behaviour Mentor you will be delivering 1-2-1 interventions, providing classroom-based support and communicating with parents to ensure that the student is receiving the right support. Previous experience working with challenging behaviours is essential for this role. The school is very supportive and has been highlighted for the impact that they have on the lives of young people in the area. Job Role:
1. Managing classroom behaviours and helping young people to regulate behaviours.
2. Acting as a positive role model for students, helping them to understand the impact that their actions have on other staff and students.
3. Communicating effectively with students, staff and parents to identify the causes behind the challenging behaviours.
4. Taking part in whole school activities, trips and reward days.
