This is a hybrid position, with 3days in the office, 2 form home. Our client is a growing, multi-sited accountancypractice They have a good staff retention rate and offer a great work life balance.
This role is suited towards anexperienced and technically competent Payroll Manager, or an experiencedPayroll Administrator or Payroll Supervisor. The successful candidate for thisPayroll Manager job in Dover, Kent will oversee the payroll for a diverseportfolio of around 130 clients and be a great support to the wider team andPartners. In addition to payroll, there is scope to get involved in other areassuch as CIS, bookkeeping etc. during quieter periods, subject to your experience,and interests.
Our client uses BrightPaysoftware and they're happy for candidates to work on a hybrid, or remote basis.
1. Manage multiple payrolls for a diverse client portfolio.
2. Support the team in respect of processes relevant to payroll and benefits.
3. Managing queries related to tax, benefits, salary, allowances.
4. Managing P11D’s and Annual Returns.
5. CIS Returns.
6. Processing P60s, P45s, start letters and induction documentation.
7. Auto enrolment processes.
8. Act as a mentor and leader to junior members of the team.
9. Knowledge of statutory pay claims and processes.
10. The ability to help grow and develop the firm’s payroll offering
