We are currently seeking an Onboarding Contracts Administrator to join our Central People Services team on a 12 month fixed term basis. Our People Support are part of a team providing high quality transactional processing and query resolution for our colleagues and managers for all life cycle activities and queries. This position requires the successful individual to work Monday-Friday across a varying shift pattern, each day is different but the weekly pattern remains constant. Early shift: 8am-4pm. Middle Shifts: 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm. We are offering flexibility to work remotely with this role with travel to the office as required for team meetings/training
How will you contribute?
1. Issue new contracts, employee offer letters, probation letters etc to name a few
2. Conduct a thorough compliance check on all Right to Work and onboarding documents
3. Run various reports and support different projects across the business
4. Provide advice, guidance and on basic HR queries, policies, procedures and systems to both managers and colleagues to deliver a great employee experience, helping to promote Wincanton as a destination employer.
5. Update and maintain the HRIS to ensure that colleagues data is up to date and accurate.
6. Respond to requests and carry out transactions to deliver the full employee life cycle including onboarding new starters, sending out contracts, producing employee change letters and supporting the leaver process.
7. Act as a member of the colleague helpdesk team, take calls and resolve people, process and system type queries.
8. Respond to queries regarding employee benefits and ensure benefits are set up correctly working with payroll and 3rd parties.
9. Work with the payroll and systems and solutions team to resolve colleague’s queries that need support from the rest of the team.
10. Manage and priorities personal workload to agreed SLAs and KPI’s.
11. Provide efficient and accurate administration of Employee Life Cycle activities for our current colleagues and leavers.
12. Carry out right to work checks to ensure legal compliance.
13. Responsible for the full end to end referencing process.
14. Rapidly escalate transactions and issues that need further input or resolution.
15. Identify where processes need to be streamlined or changed.
16. Update processes, knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures where required.
17. Make sure that information and data is accurate and legal compliance is always maintained
18. Resolve problems or shortfalls in service delivery quickly.
19. Provide generalist HR administration support as required.
What will you bring?
20. Previous HR experience is essential.
21. Experience of working at a similar level within a fast-paced environment.
22. Excellent IT skills and comfortable with working with multiple systems.
23. Sound data interrogation skills.
24. Good oral and written communication skills.
25. Highly organized and able to plan, priorities and meet deadlines.
26. Great attention to detail; ensures precision and accuracy in tasks undertaken.
27. Able to liaise effectively with peers to organize and share work priorities.
28. A common sense and pragmatic approach.

33. Previous experience of HRIS preferred.
