The opportunity to grow existing accounts by leveraging the Altair technology portfolio is significant.
Performance Areas
1. Performs sales activities for the assigned territory to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. High expectations of customer engagement, collaboration, executive sponsorship and growth.
2. Position requires a seasoned sales professional with a minimum of 5-years sales success within the digital design sector.
3. The successful candidate must understand the customer environment, customer/eco-system, customers business priorities, customers business challenges to align an Altair based solution (products and services) that generates a measurable and impactful business outcome for the customer.
4. Meeting requirements for client engagement, CRM data entry and quality, activity reporting. Collaborates globally with account teams, product specialists, other functions within Altair, remote (direct/indirect) sites, and business partners to ensure a synergistic, companywide approach to the account.
5. The successful candidate must gain executive level sponsorship, purchase commitment and manage the ongoing business relationship with the customer.
6. Develop and maintain account plans with a key focus to formulate strategies for building and growing the named strategic accounts, identifying new ways to engage with the client and proposing innovative solutions, creates roadmap to drive significant penetration across all applicable Altair solutions, with a view to maximise their potential value to Altair.
7. Remains knowledgeable and keeps abreast of Altair new and existing products/services. Working as part of a wider team, supporting group initiatives and strategic plans.
8. Proper use of Salesforce/Sales tools and applications to maintain sales records, activity and accurate sales forecasting. Completes forms, tasks and sales reports as required by management.
9. Consistent and effective internal/external communication. Keeps customers updated on company direction and product development. Relays customer feedback to the company for marketing and product enhancement consideration.
10. Successful candidates will be motivated and driven by personal and company sales achievement, earnings potential and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Need:
Qualifications
·Minimum 5 years sales experience, with preferably at least 2 years as a account manager, with a proven track record of success.
·Demonstrated basic understanding of PLM or engineering simulation space.
·Minimum bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or bachelor’s degree with technical sales experience.
·Excellent communication (including at executive level), organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across globally diverse accounts.
·UK Driving license
