We are recruiting for a Medical Secretary - HRAC Anaesthetics who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with a wide range of matters with tact and diplomacy.
The candidate must have a strong background in administrative work, with good keyboard and typing skills and use of Microsoft Word. NHS experience would be desirable but not essential if there is a proven record of secretarial skills.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the administrational support of the departments HRAC (High Risk Anaesthetic Clinic) in an efficient, comprehensive way. The role also includes general administrative support to the Consultant/s and any other members of their team/s.
The post holder will be required to work independently using their own initiative, be able to manage multiple tasks at the same time and must apply a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality to all aspects of their work.
You will undertake these duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.

* Educated to minimum GCSE level or equivalent
* RSA III Pitman or equivalent secretarial qualification
* In absence of AMSPAR, equivalent experience
