We are currently seeking an hourly paid Associate Lecturer for Electrical Apprenticeships to join The Bedford College Group at our Tresham College Corby campus.
As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of our students by preparing, delivering, assessing, and verifying Electrical Installation across a variety of courses and levels. You will guide and support students on their journey to achieving their full potential, ensuring a high-quality learning experience through effective management of their learning. Additionally, you will actively contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching methods within the Centre. Your involvement in marketing and promotional activities will also help expand and promote our diverse range of programmes and learning opportunities
Ideal candidates will have experience either in the UK Electrotechnical industry or in teaching and assessing across a variety of programmes and levels. A strong knowledge of current developments within UK Building Services is essential. You will have demonstrated success in working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and will have a clear understanding of how to promote equality and diversity within your role. Additionally, candidates should provide evidence of high performance and achievement in previous positions., alongside the following qualifications:
1. Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Installation (2357/5357 or equivalent)
2. AM2/AM2S or equivalent
3. Willingness to achieve IQA award or similar IQA qualification
4. Recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) (desireable)

What is an Associate?
Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you. Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
