Your Role:
We are seeking diligent, active individuals with a background in cleaning or manual labour to work on a busy night shift at Cricklewood Depot. This role involves various cleaning tasks to prepare and present trains for passenger service.
To excel in this role, you must hold a valid Sentinel Card with PTS competencies in AC/DC. Full training and PPE will be provided to ensure your safety and readiness.
As a PTS Train Cleaner, you will be a vital part of an engineering depot environment, responsible for a range of cleaning tasks:
1. Interior train cleaning, including deep cleans, touch point cleaning, sanitizing, hoovering, waste removal, and restroom maintenance.
2. Exterior train cleaning, such as hand-bashing, fuelling, sanding, graffiti removal, and more.
3. You will work with specialist cleaning equipment and chemicals, mainly in outdoor areas, with on-the-job training provided to ensure your success.
What We Need from You:
This role calls for a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, reliability, and the flexibility to work a permanent night shift on a 7-night roster. The working hours are from 9:30 pm to 4:30 am.
Rates of Pay:
4. Standard Hours (35 hours per week) - £13.15 p/h
5. Overtime - £19.58 p/h
6. Sunday Nights - £22.85 p/h
7. Pay is weekly and increases after 12 weeks as part of agency workers’ rights.
