We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Brand Manager to join us on a temporary maternity cover to help us accelerate our energy business. Building on the existing successes of Rockstar energy, reporting into the Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing brand strategy for GB.
Energy needs are universal, but brands to meet those needs are not. The Rockstar brand is on a mission to make energy more accessible. We’re excited about our work in music and our partnerships with music artists and Live Nation alike to bring Rockstar Energy to the masses and the potential to grow even further is huge.
Responsibilities
1. Working closely with our International Beverages group, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing the local Brand strategy for the Rockstar brand in the UK. Ensuring plans are rooted in clear consumer insight, data driven performance analysis and a deep understanding of the local energy consumer, you’ll also work closely with our bottling partner to ensure shopper and trade customers, with particular focus on TT/symbols/indies channels, have full E2E plans.
2. Lead communication and activation planning for the brand, based on clear understanding of consumer/shopper triggers & barriers to trial along the path to purchase, to unlock sales and builg long-term brand equity.
3. Manage Brand A&M budget, ensuring most efficient budget deployment, to unlock brand opportunities across the year.
4. Lead the brand calendars and collaborate strongly with bottler partner, to ensure flawless, timely and commercially strong in market execution.
5. Own local brand media & digital planning and use Media analytics to optimize.
6. Lead local packaging development process.
7. Execute Rockstar headline partnership, and long term relationship with Live Nation including all activation and comms planning.
Qualifications
8. Customer/Channel experience desirable, ideally within FMCG.
9. Strong strategic mindset, with proven ability to take consumer and customer insight and translate into plans that unlock brand growth.
10. Problem solving, with an ability to see solutions within a number of complex scenarios and ability to take others with you.
11. Native collaboration skills and proven ability to galvanize cross functional teams.
12. Ability to shape plans rooted in understanding of consumer, shopper & customer, with a view to driving value across the brand.
13. A strong drive for results, comfortable with embracing challenges, and working at fast pace with cross functional teams
14. A real passion for Marketing as well as having a high level of commercial acumen.
15. Be able to be agile, manage change, and a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
