Active Pathwaysis recruiting compassionate Support Workers for ourBRAND NEW SERVICEat South Grove House in Fulwood, Lancashire. This is an incredible opportunity to join our team and help individuals live as independently as possible.
Working 8am – 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:
* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
About South Grove House
South Grove House is an 8-bed residential care home featuring 3 self-contained apartments and 5 en-suite rooms. Each apartment includes its own kitchen, lounge, bedroom, and bathroom, and has a private entrance. The main house offers shared amenities accessible to all residents.

The Role

Our Ideal Support Worker Will:
* Have knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and Autism.
* Understand the importance of person-centered care and promoting independence.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have experience working in challenging environments.
Desired Experience:
* Engaging with individuals and assisting with daily living activities, social, recreational, and occupational activities, including community support.
* Working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Promoting positive practices in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Mental Capacity within the service.
* Experience working with autistic individuals and those with mental health conditions, including behaviours that challenge.
