Axcis is working with a lovely primary school in Bath to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant. The role will be supporting a small group of students within the school’s SEND resource base so would be ideal for someone with previous TA experience. This opportunity would be also suitable for recent graduates of the following subjects – psychology, sports coaching or performing arts who are looking to begin a career in education. The working hours for this role are between 8.30 to 3.30 and the daily rate of pay starts from £93.48. Key Responsibilities include: - Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment that focuses on the wellbeing of the students - Adapting the support given to the needs and ability of the individual students - Effectively minimising and handling meltdowns, outbursts and disruptive behaviour Requirements for this role include experience supporting individuals with SEND, strong communication and written English skills, Right to Work in UK and enhanced DBS on the update service.
