Responsibilities
The role of Supply Chain Performance Manager leads a small team and sits within UK Operations, Customer Business, reporting to the Performance & Reporting Manager.
As Supply Chain Performance Manager, you will lead the strategy toward more efficient, cost-effective processes during the lifecycle of the meter, from installation to removal. You will play a key part in driving our roadmap of improvements to help deliver the best possible experience to our customers.
You will be focused on:
* Invoice cost assurance: Verifying and validating the costs associated with invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
* Continuous improvement: Enhancing budget modelling and tracking costs to highlight potential financial risks and manage them proactively.
* Working with other departments across the business to ensure robust processes and procedures are in place that contribute to the delivery of ScottishPower’s strategic objectives.
This is an opportunity for a proactive professional with strong stakeholder and leadership skills to join our growing team.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate at a minimum:
* Knowledge of procurement and contracting processes, with previous involvement in commercial tender events and contract disputes/negotiations.
* Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels of the business, including the external supply chain and regulatory bodies.
* Project management experience: Planning, organizing, and executing projects within the supply chain.
* Ability to analyze and interpret complex data trends to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.
* Knowledge and understanding of the UK Energy Market and Smart Metering Infrastructure.
