Wessex Education Shared Services have an opportunity for an Exams Officer to join the team at Brockenhurst College on a full- time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a salary of £23,014 - £25,280 per annum, depending on experience.

About the role
About the role:
As the Exams Officer, you will deliver examination services within Brockenhurst College.
Responsibilities as our Exams Officer will include:
2. Ensuring the timely submission of Exam registrations, claims and entries.
3. Ensuring that the learners and relevant customer college departments receive the necessary guidance, documentation and support relevant for any given event scheduled.
4. Ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected from the college departments in order to be re-distributed as per external examination guidelines, college guidelines, and key performance indicator policies set by the department.
5. Working closely with the Management Information team in the flow of data and requests as necessary.
6. Working closely with the Exams Team and Exams Manager to ensure that all exams are being delivered within the agreed timelines with all the necessary adjustments for access exam arrangements and special exam requests.
7. Assisting with the organisation and distribution and presenting of exam certificates throughout the year as per college request.
8. Maintaining an effective and efficient filing system for learner registration forms, data capture amendment forms etc. in accordance with departmental policy.
9. Ensuring all qualification results are entered accurately in a timely manner onto the MIS system in accordance with SLAs.
As our Exams Officer, you’ll ideally have:
10. Level 3 qualification
11. 5 GCSE’s (at grade C or above) including maths and English
12. Ability to deliver on multiple workloads within time restraints
13. Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
14. Experience of following processes and procedures
15. Experience of working to tight deadlines
16. Willingness and ability to learn new skills
17. Ability to self-teach new technologies and concepts
