Job summary:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to the students. You will design engaging, innovative lessons that help students to grow interest and attain deep understanding in scientific principles.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons.
* Assess, monitor and provide feedback on students’ progress
* Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment materials.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the science curriculum.
* Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, particularly those related to health, safety, and safeguarding.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Science or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching science at school level is preferred.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
