Role Overview :
We are seeking a qualified and passionate RPE Teacher (Religion, Philosophy & Ethics) to work at a welcoming Secondary School based in Huntingdon. As an RPE Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that cover the required curriculum. This includes key topics such as the major world religions, philosophy of religion, ethical theories, moral dilemmas, and contemporary issues. You will incorporate a range of teaching methods to engage students, such as discussions, debates, case studies, role-playing, and interactive activities, helping students to think critically and explore different perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality R.E and RPE lessons that meet the needs of all students
* Regular marking, feedback, and assessment of student work to support their progress
* Participate in parents' evenings, staff meetings, and other school activities as required
* Contribute to the broader school community and engage in extra-curricular opportunities
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the R.E curriculum
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attend relevant school events
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* DBS (or the willingness to apply)
* Strong subject knowledge in R.E. (Religious Education), RPE, or a related field
* Experience in teaching R.E at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4)
* Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for learning
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students, staff, and parents
* Highly organised with strong classroom management skills
