A bit about the job:
We are seeking a Data Management Specialist to drive the implementation of new Enterprise Data Services across Aviva Group. As a key member of the data transformation team, you will have the opportunity to shape and influence Data Management services, standards, and best practices. Your role will involve developing and enhancing processes, systems, and services to create a significant shift in our Data Management capabilities, culture, and mindset.
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Comprehensive understanding of the data lifecycle management.
2. Hands-on experience with data management disciplines, including Data Quality, Metadata Management, User Access, Reference Data Management, Data Retention, and Privacy Management.
3. Practical knowledge and user experience with Data Management technologies, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
4. Proven experience in implementing Data Management systems (e.g., Metadata Management, Data Quality, User Access) using tools like Informatica EDC/Axon, Collibra, Atacama, Talend, Immuta, or similar, within a multi-cloud environment. Familiarity with AWS services and Snowflake is highly desirable.
5. Strong ability to influence and manage stakeholders and peers, especially those less familiar with data concepts. Proven experience in driving change and transformation initiatives within Data Management.

6. London Salary Circa £65,000-£70,000. National Salary Circa £50,000 - £60,000. (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
7. Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
