TRANSPORT OFFICE CLERK - NIGHTS
We have an exciting role for 2 x Transport Office Clerks working with one of the world's biggest logistics providers in conjunction with one of the world's best-known prestige car brands. We are looking for a hard-working, ambitious, and flexible individual with a solid work history and strong work ethic. Please note that this role is working in a very fast paced environment. Based in Solihull, B92
This is an on-going agency position with the potential of becoming permanent in the future.
Salary
£34,569.60pa (40 hrs pw) - £16.62 ph
Hours of work:
Role 1 - 9pm-5am
Role 2 - 10pm-6am
Days of work:
Monday to Friday
The role:
Greeting drivers at start of shift, handing out keys and paperwork, checking details
A large volume of data entry
Transport industry experience is essential
Tracking vehicles en-route, reporting any delays, time changes or problems to senior staff.
Talking to drivers en route and checking load description
Route planning and adjusting
De-brief at the end of shift, take back keys and paperwork.
Driver and vehicle management
Answer any driver queries
Download driver digicard
Other duties as required
Infringement management
Required:
Transport industry (or similar) experience is essential
Ability to work a permanent night shift
Stable work history
Excellent work ethic
Flexible attitude
Data Entry Experience
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word/Excel) - ESSENTIAL
Must be able to travel to Solihull
